Kristin Kwan: Beating

Kristin Kwan is an artist who makes illustrative paintings and drawings. I work primarily in oil on panel, my subjects being nature, animals, and the human figure. Inspired in turns by the natural world, and by legends and myths, I use elements of fantasy and allegory to explore themes of life, death, and rebirth. I am a graduate of Union College in Lincoln, NE (BA in studio art) and currently live in Lincoln, NE.
