Julia Lundman Prints

Julia Lundman is an artist in San Francisco creating paintings and drawings inspired by myth and fantasy, with a love of Medieval art and design. Painting in acrylic, her process begins with sketching, developing ideas further on paper or canvas. Her technique moves from a detailed underpainting to lightly glazed layers of color and refined detail.

Julia Lundman graduated from the American Academy of Art in downtown Chicago in 1993. Her commercial art career as a background painter at a traditional animation studio eventually brought her to San Francisco to work in the entertainment industry. Studying nights and weekends through various workshops and ateliers, she continued to develop her paintings. Julia Lundman's fine art work has been published in Infected by Art, volumes 8, 9 and 10, Imagine FX magazine and can be seen in collections around the world.
