Collection: Molly Mendoza Solo

Through their work Molly Mendoza explores the complex emotions of interpersonal relationships and self-love with a focus on layered visual storytelling, mark-making, and color. They write stories, they paint murals, they teach students, and they draw. Molly has worked for clients such as APWOT, Lock-On Magazine, and The Marshall Project - made comics with Bulgilhan Press, Oni, Nobrow, and Shortbox Comics - and have illustrated picture books for Scholastic, Chronicle Books, and Beach Lane Books. They have been honored with an Eisner nomination for their color work on their graphic novel Skip, Ignatz winning alongside fellow artists and writers in the Shades of Fear Anthology, and have received a Caldecott Honor for their illustration work on Jovita Wore Pants written by Aida Salazar.
